Biography

Susanna Allen Greenwood was born about 1792 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Bartlett "Bartlee" Greenwood & Nancy Sublett.

Susanna Allen Greenwood married Richard Austin Flint on February 21, 1813 in Garrard, Lincoln County, Kentucky. His parents are unknown.

Richard Austin Flint died some time before 1823, when Susanna Allen Greenwood married John Cox (1780-1859) on 17 Oct 1823 at Lincoln, Kentucky. [1]

She is listed on the pension record as the widow of both Flint and John Cox and the mother of Oliver Perry Cox.[2]

In the 1870 U.S. Federal Census, Susanna Allen Greenwood was living in Madison, Mercer County, Missouri, with Oliver Cox, her son by 2nd husband John Cox, and his family.[3]

Susanna Allen Greenwood died around 1885 in Mercer County, Missouri.

Susannah Greenwood is Oliver Perry's mother, not his second wife. They are all living together in the 1870 census. I am correcting this relationship.
