William Greenwood, from Sherborn, Massachusetts, worked on the roads in Dublin as early as 1762. He settled on lot 8, range 6, in 1765. He was a carpenter by trade and was killed at the raising of the frame of a barn belonging to Deacon Benhamin Learned, June 28, 1782, age 61. He married Abigail Death of Sherborn, who died Oct 1, 1814, age 81. Eight children are listed.
