Samuel Greenwood is believed to have been born in Virginia in 1747. He married Sebell Street in Virginia about 1784. Samuel died in 1809 in Surry County, North Carolina.[1] According to a document in the probate file, Samuel left his widow with 11 children. The heirs mentioned in the probate were:
