Born to Lemuel Cerwood Greer (1869 - 1927 and Adeline Elizabeth Manis Greer (1876 - 1931.

All the kids were born in Sedalia, Pettis County MO. all the kids moved near their parents, to Greeley CO. 1920.

I believe this death cert is correct, the month is right the area he lived in is right.

1910 Census I see a

Willie Greer age 18 "Employee" living with a Jackson family in Johnson Co., MO. [2]

They lived there several years until their parents death.

3 brothers moved to California, also their sister Lulu Greer-Taylor (Parks) moved to the Los Angeles County area.

ALL 3 brothers died in California in their early 50s.

It appears from the census records that all of Lemuel and Adeline's family moved with them to Greeley. Opal-Lula-and the boys.

according to newspaper item Lemuel was crushed by his car and his leg had to be amputated, on Christmas Day. And then he died Dec. 29. They had 5 children that reached adulthood: in the photo

DECEMBER 7, 1941 round about. Then Herschel got transferred after WWII was over to work on the railroad in Fresno CA. So this Uncle was living in the neighborhood when we lived in Downey. --(aka; Clearwater in 1944) This is where the photos of Ray/his wife were taken.

Especially the sons I would love to help get a GREER DNA test done and get the results. I DID mine...NO HELP!!!!

but son to father to father, is the best way to prove OUR GREER lineage.

I can find zero on their daughter Florence born 1921 Colorado, she is listed on the 1930 Greely census.
