Biography

Parthenia was born on January 22, 1873 in Mason County, West Virginia.^[1] She was the daughter of Hugh Jasper Greer and Martha Jane Harpold. She married John William Ball on May 7, 1892.^[2] She passed away on August 8, 1952.^[3]

Research Notes

Parthenia's date of birth (February 22) in the Mason County Register of Births differs from the date of birth (January 22) on her Certificate of Death. I used the date given on her Certificate of Death since the Mason County Register does not look like the original record and an error could have been made when coping the original records. Her son, Robert, was the informant on her Certificate of Death.
