The place of birth of Nancy (Greer) Clay is listed as North Carolina in the 1860 census[1] but her death certificate states she was born in Pike County Kentucky,[2] the family's location in 1860.
In 1870 Nancy continues to reside with her parents and siblings, now in Floyd County, Kentucky.[3]
