Biography

Margaret Gregg was born Dunedin, New Zealand in 1925. She was the daughter of Charles Gregg and Catherine Gibson. She moved to her grandparent's home in Northern Ireland with her mother and sister Kit in 1929. Her mother married Samuel Mills in 1933 and they moved to Canada. She joined the RCAF during World War II. She married Gerard Melville Bogues in Kitchener in 1947.

Marg and children lived with her cousin Rhoda Dent in Belfast when Barney was posted to West Germany in 1954. The family followed in time for school in September. Returned to Listowel, then Lisle, Camp Borden, Downsview, Whitehorse and finally Ottawa in 1964.

In 1975 Marg and Barney retired to Listowel and he (they) worked in the Pro Shop at the Listowel Golf and Country Club. Eventually they moved to Maitland Terrace and then Caressent Care.

They spent their winters in Panama City Beach, Florida. After Barney's death, she moved to KIngston.

At Providence Care, Kingston, on Monday, September 8, 2014, Mrs. Agnes Margaret (Gregg) Bogues of Listowel, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerard "Barney" Bogues. Predeceased by her brother Ron Mills, sister Catherine Charlton, and by her twins in infancy. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
