Anne Gregory was born about 1640-1650.
She married Thomas Edmundson, about April 1666.
She is likely the mother of more than one of Thomas Edmundson's ten children.
Anne died after 5 Nov 1669 and before 26 June 1673.
Child 2, Sarah (Edmundson) Boughan [Edmundson-217], shows a date of birth in 1675 on WikiTree. This is inconsistent with Anne Gregory's death of before June 1673.
By Thomas's first marriage to Anne Gregory, they had one child [1]
Marriage: - about April 1666 in Rappahannock County, Virginia. On 16 April 1666, John Gregory, "of Hoskins Creek in the County of Rappa. Planter" made a deed of gift "for love and affection" to "Thomas Edmundson of same county Planter my Sone in Law" for eight head of cattle (cattle are named). [(Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, Deed Book 3, page 174-175; recorded 12 February 1667.]
Death: - after 5 Nov 1669, when Anne and husband Thomas witnessed a deed from Robert Clements to Thomas Harper; [(Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, Deed Book 4, page 263, 264.] - before 26 June 1673, when Thomas Edmondson and his second wife, Mary unk, witnessed a power of attorney from Annis Jones to Mr. Edmund Crask. [(Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, Deed Book 3, page 292.][3]

THOMAS EDMUNDSON, THE IMMIGRANT
We have no documentation of the above statement and no record showing the origin of Thomas Edmundson. It appears he was transported from England at the expense of John Gregory and Hugh Mead, as these men received a grant of 200 acres October 4, 1675, for transporting four persons into the colony, including Thomas Edmundson (Patent Book 6, p. 166; see Virginia Gen., Vol. 2). There is a good chance he was an indentured servant. One source says he came to Virginia in 1656 but documentation is needed.
Thomas married Anne Gregory, daughter of John Gregory, Feb. 2,1666, in Rappahannock County. John Gregory made a deed April 16, 1666, for eight head of cattle. Gregory was a member of the Farnham Parish Vestry. The deed reads:
John Gregory’s will is recorded in Deeds and Wills, Old Rappahannock County, 1665-1676, pp. 210-211: the will of Capt. John Grigorys was dated May 24, 1676, who was still living. REGISTER OF ANCESTORS, National Society of Colonial Dames of Commonwealth of Virginia, p. 41, refers to John Gregory, d. 1676. Capt., ranger, old Rappahannock County. Bacon Rebellion. Marriage 1 to Elizabeth Bishop, b. 1625 in Virginia and died before 1676 in Rappahannock County. Married about 1653 in Lancaster County, Virginia. Children: ***Ann Gregory, b. Lancaster County, married Thomas Edmundson;*** Mary Gregory, b. 1665 in New Kent County; John Gregory, Jr., b. 1667; Richard Gregory, b. abt 1668 in Lancaster County; Elizabeth Gregory b. in Farnham Parish, Virginia. (It would appear that this Register is not correct in date of marriage of John and Elizabeth Gregory. Their daughter ***Ann who married Thomas Edmundson*** likely would have been born before 1653 to be old enough to be married by 1666.) See COLONIAL SURRY, p.102, for reference to John Gregory.
The above is being posted here because of the leads and the controversies over whether she in fact was a Gregory. It is copied from Thomas Edmundson of Essex County, Virginia. By S W Edmondson June 22, 2009 at 12:47:39. It is unknown whether these genealogy.com forum posts will remain, so until the citations mentioned can be vetted as to being able to be reproduced and validated, the above is a working note for use.
See below note that she was removed from parents... [ removed John Gregory (abt.1623-1676) ]
No Research Note was placed justifying her removal as a daughter of John Gregory; will check John Gregory's profile for a note, there.
Updated to add emphasis.

Torrence, Clayton. Winston of Virginia, and allied families. 1927, p. 238-41. Richmond, Virginia: Whittet and Shepperson.
Indeed, elsewhere in the Torrence text, the Gregory family is fairly well discussed, and no daughter Ann or Anne of the appropriate age and lineage is discussed.
The children of John Gregory (d. bet. 21 Apr and 9 Dec 1676) and Elizabeth (or possibly another wife of John's), are listed by Torrence as:
Thus, though we might have evidence that established that Thomas Edmondson married an Ann, we do not know her surname/maiden name, and no records reviewed yet establish her as being a Gregory.
It is recommended that the sources added to her husband's profile be reviewed and also placed here, as appropriate, and that the above citation that describes Thomas Edmondson be taken into consideration as well as the fact that the parental relationship shown is not supported and this "Anne" needs to be removed as a child of the present parents shown.
The project protection may need to remain in place to prevent her from being reattached to the unsupported parents.
