Mary was the second wife of James Taylor. They married on 10 Aug 1682 in Kent, Virginia. [2]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
It seems like Taylor-16486 is not the correct husband. Taylor-679 seems more likely and is listed as the husband of the Mary Gregory in Gregory-6497. That James Taylor also has the same death date that was in this record erroneously as Mary's death date, which seems pretty compelling, but some evidence is needed.

Mary Gregory was the daughter of John Gregory and Elizabeth Bishop Gregory, as stated in Mary's bio and in the bio of her mother Elizabeth. The evidence is in the will of Mary's brother John Gregory, Jr., as cited on the profiles for Mary and for her mother Elizabeth. (His will also needs to be cited on his own profile, which currently lacks sources.)
Mary Gregory was disconnected from John Gregory, Sr. and his wife Elizabeth as their daughter during the recent merge. After consulting with Kathy Patterson, I am restoring the relationship, as evidenced in the above cited primary source.
Gregaory-1 and Gregory-6493 appear to represent the same person because: The correct LNAB is Gregory. This merge is requested for the US PRESIDENTS Project
Gregory-4563 and Gregory-2182 appear to represent the same person because: Similar birth, death, maiden name and marriage data.
I tentatively suggest that this could be the first step towards sorting out the mess in this area. Look also at Gregory-147. The James Taylor husband profiles need sorting out at the same time.

If I am reading this correctly, Bishop may have been their grandparents(?).
