Sister Licinia Greiner, SSSF, 102, passed away Wednesday Nov. 5, 2008 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport, Wi.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1906 in Keota, Iowa the daughter of the late Michael and Caroline Conrad Greiner. Her birth name was Veronica.

Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis Community on June 24, 1925 and professed her vows on Aug. 21, 1932. Sister Linicia served the community as a teacher and a principal at various community missions.

Sister Celine is the beloved aunt of Sister Marietta Greiner, SSSF, Sister Carolita Greiner, SSSF and Sister Terese Greiner, SSSF. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 84 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Mon. Nov. 10, 2008 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport. Visitation will be Mon. from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at St, Joseph Convent.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the School Sisters of St. Francis are appreciated.
