Harry I Greiner, 52, a longtime resident of the State Center vicinity, died suddenly at his farm home early last Saturday morning. Death resulted from an internal hemmorage.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm from the home and at 2:00 pm from St Paul's Lutheran church Tuesday with Rev H Kumpf officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
He was born October 2, 1887 in LaSalle county, Illinois, a son of Ignaz and Mary Greiner. He came to Iowa in 1907 with his parents settling near State Center, where he had lived since. He was married March 6, 1918 to Miss Hazel Schuler and they were the parents of two children, one who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs Fred Weuve Jr, one grandson, his mother, Mrs Mary Greiner and one brother, G W Greiner, all of State Center.
He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran church and a member of the Modern Woodman camp in State Center.
