DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sabra by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sabra:
I removed Sabra as second wife of Jonathan Burchard, because he died before Sabra's husband Hosea. Here is the research argument I posted in Jonathan's biography
Alleged Second Marriage
Some Ancestry trees show a second marriage to a Sabra Gridley who was the wife of Hosea Gridley who was born in 1761 and died 24 December 1839.<ref>"United States Revolutionary War Pension Payment Ledgers, 1818-1872," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q24Q-2NPP : accessed 8 June 2020), Hosea Gridley, ; citing Utica, Oneida, New York, United States, NARA microfilm publication T718 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1962), roll 4; FHL microfilm 1,319,384.</ref> Since Hosea died after Jonathan, this does not seem feasible. If he married a Sabra Gridley, it was likely not the wife of Hosea.
Sabra does not appear in any of the well researched Burchard genealogies.
