"The earliest extant record of the Reformed Church in Goshenhoppen is a 1731 "Record of the Names of the Fathers of Families who belong to the Congregation at New Goshenhoppen. The list includes Valentine 'Griesemer,' who also appears on a similar list made in 1741, together with sons Wilhelm and Lenhardt Griesemer and his new son-in-law Jacob Gery."
