Biography
Owen Griffin was born about 1802 in Kentucky to William Griffin and Delilah Wade. [1] He married Lucinda Perryman.[2] Their children were Louisa, John, Elizabeth, G. W. C., Bidcar, Elvira, Tennessee, and L. C.[3][4]
He died in 1873 and is buried at Blackwell Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Arkansas.[5]

Parents are Wilson and Elizabeth (Pratt) Griffin. They marry Oct. 4, 1801 in Christian County, KY. Father Zephaniah Pratt gives permission to marry. Wilson and Elizabeth lived in Lauderdale, Alabama then Fayette, TN then De Soto, Mississippi. Wilson either had a brother or father named Owen (see Christian, KY tax records for 1800) Possible children of Wilson and Elizabeth: Owen, Emily, John B, Nancy, Zephaniah.
