Biography
Mary Ann was born in 1808 in Exeter, Devon. She was the daughter of Edward Griffin and Sarah Taylor. She was baptized on 28 February 1808 at St Sidwell's in Exeter.
Mary married James Drew on 18 February 1828 in St Thomas, Devon. She was widowed in 1858.
In the 1870s Mary moved to Manchester and lived with her youngest daughter, Emma, and Emma's husband and children at 8 Malton Street.
Mary died from Senile Paralysis on 18 September 1893 in 6 Malton Street, Manchester.[1] She was 85. She was buried on 23 September 1893 in Philips Park Cemetery, Manchester.[2]
