Biography

Huldah Griffin was born on 19 June 1837^[1] at Onondaga Co., New York, USA. She appeared on the census of 29 Oct. 1850 in the household of her parents, Gaylord Griffin and Marium (Crants) Griffin,^[2] at Cicero, Onondaga Co., New York.^[3] She appeared on the census of 6 June 1855 in the household of her parents at Cicero, Onondaga Co., New York.^[4]

She married Douglas N. Howe^[2][1] circa 1859.

She and Douglas appeared on the census of 17 July 1860 at Manlius, Onondaga Co., New York.^[5] She and Douglas appeared on the census of 11 July 1870 at Manlius, Onondaga Co., New York.^[6]

Huldah died on 15 March 1879^[2] at age 41, at the time of the birth of her son Fred. She was buried at Collamer Cemetery, DeWitt, Onondaga County, New York. Her memorial has a photo of her gravestone, it is difficult to read, Douglas is identified as her husband.^[1]
