Biography

Birth and Childhood

Hannah Griffin was born 4 Aug 1836 at West Buckland, Somerset the daughter of Uriah Griffin (c.1814-c.1868) and Susanna Blackmore (1815-c.1899) and was baptised on 21 Aug 1836. [1]

Death and Burial

Hannah died on 23 Jan 1913 age 76 at Taunton, Somerset and was burried on 30 Jan 1913 at Taunton (St Mary), Somerset. [48] [49]

Her husband John died in 1911 age 77 at Wilton, Somerset and was burried on 18 Oct 1911. [50]

Notes:
i) Committed suicide with a pair of scissors while of unsound mind (Somerset Coroner Inquest 25 Jan 1913).
