Addie was born in 1904. She passed away in 1994.

Addie Byrdie Griffin was born on 7 Jan 1904 in Arkinda, Little River, Arkansas, SSA. She was the daughter of James Griffin and Mattie Vandiver. Addie Byrdie Griffin married Robert John Bateman on July 25, 1917, at Idabel, McCurtain, Oklahoma. She passed away on 25 Sep 1994 in Wenatchee, Chelan, Washington, USA.[1]

WENATCHEE - Addie B. Bateman, 90, a longtime resident of Wenatchee, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 1994, in Colonial Vista Convalescent Center.

She was born Jan. 7, 1904, to James and Mattie (Vandiver) Griffin in Arkinda, Ark., where she received her education. She was baptized as a young girl into the Baptist Church.

She married Robert John Bateman on July 25, 1917, at Idabel, Okla., where they made their home. The family moved to Wenatchee in 1943.

Mrs. Bateman was a member of the Lincoln Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Charles, East Wenatchee; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, both in 1963, a daughter in 1971, one brother, three sisters and a grandson in 1993.

Arrangements are by Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
