I know she was 1st married to Lewis Stovall, Stephen's cousin. I got a lot of my information on-line, Griffin Genealogy Index and Damon of Me, Forsyth(s)--& also Stovall, book by Bishop. Sorry to say I didn't copy all their sources.

Lewis Stovall (b. 1789) and Jane Griffen (b. 1795) were married in 1813, at Lincolnton, Georgia. They had seven children, 1813-1824, all born at Lincolnton. Their daughter, Amanda Stovall Albea (1815-1862), and her husband, William Albea (1803-1854), had eight children, 1832-1850.

1850 Lincoln County Ga census, District 52, image 9698. Jane Stovall 55, living in household was Prudence O 17 Stovall, , Emily Stovall, 15; Joseph Roberts 21 overseer.

1860 Lincoln County Ga census, Goshen District, p34, image 826. Jane Stovall was living in the household of John Norman and daughter Mary Norman. She is 65 years.

Jane Elizabeth Griffin married Lewis Stovall 1st and was Stephen Stovall's 3rd wife. They married in Lincoln Co., GA Nov 8 1831. Source is Georgia Marriage Records from Selected Counties, 1828-1978.

There were 3 children born to them Olivia Prudence, Margaret Emily, & Ava E My g g g grandmother was Olivia P. My grandmother was named for her Helen Oliivia Kendrick.
