Biography

Violet Griffin was born on 7 Feb 1903 in Tardebigge, Webheath, Worcestershire, England to Thomas Griffin and Julia (Evans) Griffin. Her birth was registered in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire in the first quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Evans.^[1]

In 1911 Violet Griffin (age 6) lived in Webheath with her father Thomas (50, Fish Hook Filer for Fishing Tackle), mother Julia (48), and four siblings: Harry (23, Warehouse Man for Fishing Tackle), Frank Morton (14, Cycle Worker at Cycle Works), Bert (12), and Albert (9).^[2]

Violet Griffin married Edwin G Boulton in 1928. The marriage was registered in Bromsgrove in the second quarter of the year.^[3]
