Total in household was nine.[1]
1800 U.S. Census: Elias (sic) Davis lived in Freehold, Greene County, New York, with one male under age 10 (Abram, 4), one male 10-15 (David, 12), two males 16-25 (Bill, 17, & James, 16), one male 26-44 (?), one male 45 and over (Adaliah, 48), one female under 10 (Lydia, 9), one female 10-15 (Elizabeth, 11), one female 16-26 (?), and one female 45 and over (Elizabeth, 51).[2]NOTE: Son Ebenezer was next door neighbor.
1810 U.S.Census: Adaliah Davis lived in Durham, Greene County, New York, with one male age 10-15 (Abram, 14), one male 45 and over (Adaliah, 58), one female 16-25 (Lydia, 19), and one female 45 and over (Elizabeth, 61).[3] NOTE: Sons Ebenezer and Bill were next door neighbors. Benonia Pearse was also a next door neighbor.
1820 U.S. Census: Adaliah Davis lived in Durham, Greene County, New York, with one male under age 10 (Abram's son, James, 1), one male 16-26 (Abram, 24), one male 45 and up (Adaliah, 68), one female under age 10 (Abram's daughter, Malinda, 4), one female 16-26 (Abram's wife, Nancy, 23), and one female 45 and up (Elizabeth, 71). Two persons worked in agriculture. No slaves.[4]NOTE: Silas Pierce and Michael Pierce were next door neighbors.
1830 U.S. Census: Adaliah Davis lived in Augusta, Oneida County, New York, with one male age 10-15 (Abram's son, James, 11), one male age 30-40 (son, Abram, 34), one male age 70-80 (Adaliah, 78), three females under 5 (Abram's daughters Maria, <1, Caroline Philhelmina, 4, and ?), two females 5-10 (Abrams daughters Phebe, 6, and Mattie, 8), one female 10-15 (?), one female 30-40 (Abram's wife, Nancy, 33), and one female 80-90 (Elizabeth, 81). No slaves. Eleven persons in household. [5]
1839: Elizabeth Griffen Davis died, age 89, in Augusta, Oneida County New York, and was buried in the Knoxboro-Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, Oneida County, New York. Find A Grave: Memorial #33775201[6]
1880 U.S. Census: Daughter, Lydia Pierce, confirmed Elizabeth was born in New York. [7]
