From Pike county court records: Patsy Griffith declines to be administrator of husband, William, and defers to his brother, John, Dec. 8, 1832, Pike Co. Mo. John W. Griffith, admin., lists heirs of William Griffith, Dec. 24, 1832 as Abel, Hester, Eliza, John, James Warren, William, Samuel, Martha Ann. All live with their mother.[1]
