Biography

Henry Wells Griffith was born 17 May 1818 in Christian, Kentucky, United States.

He was the son of Hiram Thomas Griffith and Icy Phoena (Fountain) Griffith. Brother of Joseph Fountain Griffith, B. William Griffith and Milton Griffith.

Henry married Celia Ann (Carter) Griffith in 1844 [location unknown]. He was the father of Sarah Jane (Griffith) Jay.

Henry Wells Griffith passed away 6 Apr 1887 at age 68 in Barnesville, Johnson, Texas, United States.
