Biography

Fleming was born in 1860. He was the son of Calvin M Griffith and Mary Berenice Roy. He passed away in 1920.[1]


Research Notes

There seems to be a problem with the name of Fleming and Christopher (his brother)'s father. Wikitree has the father as Calvin M, but the sources for Christopher give his father as Jefferson Griffith. It was the same source I found for Fleming. Stuewe-5 11:28, 2 September 2016 (EDT)

Jefferson Griffith, my 3rd. great grandfather, was step-father to Christopher M. Griffith and Fleming C. Griffith. Jeff and his brother Calvin were both married to Mary B. Roy Lafever. Jeff married Mary after Calvin died. Mary also had 2 children by a previous husband (Lafever) that also died. Mary and Jeff had more children. by Debbie Thomas Johnson
