DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lindsey by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lindsey:
I looked at the image of the census itself, and the Lindsey that was born c1890 and would have been 19/20 in 1910 Census is listed in the hh of Emmeline as Lindsey Clanton AND HE IS MALE;
He has a sister there also, Lynzie age 16. Odds are pretty good that neither Clanton child as listed in the Census are also the bio children of Wm Griffith.
Listed in the same hh but under the surname of Griffith is Emmeline herself, and Alex?, Robert, Frank, Della, Marry and Willie
