Oamaru January 17. At St. Patrick’s Basilica Mr. Ronald Griffith, son of Sergeant Griffith, was united in the bonds of Matrimony to Miss Mary O’Connor, of Deborah. The Rev. Father Farthing performed the ceremony.

Sgt Griffith is probably not the same as Ron Griffith, grandad was a detective based in Dunedin at the time (when Mum was born) so this needs verification.
