Biography

Robert was born in either 1784 or 1786, ( depending on the reliability of his age at death). He was baptised on 26 Feb 1786, at St Dennis, and is the son of Robert and Mary.

On 27 Jul 1811, Robert married Ann Coad, at St Stephen in Brannel, Cornwall.

In 1841, at age 55, Robert is a Farmer, living at Menna, St Dennis, with his wife Ann age 53, and their children, James age 24 (27), Joseph age 23, Isaac age 21, Mary age 17, William age 15, Fanny age 13, Grace age 10 and (grandson ?) William Grigg age 2.

In 1851, at age 64, Robert is a Clay labourer, living at Menna, St Dennis, Cornwall, with his wife Ann age 62, and their daughter Fanny age 22.

In 1861, at age 75, the widowed Robert is a Yeoman, still living at Menna, Prazey, St Dennis, with his single daughter Fanny age 32, his widowed daughter Mary Trethewey age 36 and her children - Elizabeth A Trethewey age 11, Clara Trethewey age 5 and Tryphena age 3 months (?).

Robert was buried on 10 Aug 1867, at age 83 (?), in St Denys Churchyard cemetery, with his wife Ann.
