Samuel Griggs was born 1862 in Kingstown, Sydney.
He was the son of Charles Griggs (Griggs- 1649) and Eliza Woods. (Woods-8100)
Samuel Griggs married Eleanor Small in 1888 at Marrickville, Sydney.
They have seven children.
Percy George, Gladys, Elsie I., Olive, Edna M., Samuel Charles and Clifford Fred.
Samuel Griggs passed away 19 October 1942, aged 80 years, at Bexley, Sydney.
He was buried with his wife Eleanor at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland.
Methodist Monumental Section PPP, Grave 04
Gravestone states he was 80 years.
