William Griggs immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
William Griggs was baptized at Lavendon, Buckinghamshire, England, 27 Feb 1619/20.[1]
He was fourteen years old, traveling with his parents, George Griggs and Alice (Sibthorpe), when he immigrated to New England on the "Hopewell" in April 1635.[2][3] The family settled in Boston.[4]
