Biography

Emma was born in 1871. She was the daughter of Emanuel Grim and Catherine Ness. [1]

In the 1900 US Census Emma was still living at home with her parents as was her younger brother with his wife and children. Emma is listed as working at a cigar factory. [2]

With her father passing in 1907 both Emma and her brother, William, and his family were still living with their mother Catherine. Emma is listed as working on the farm now. [3]

For the next three decades Emma remains employed at the cigar factory and she is living with her youngest brother, William, and his family. [4] [5] [6]

Emma gets baptized on 5 Oct 1924 in Red Lion, York County, Pennsylvania at the United Methodist Church [7]

Emma enters eternal rest in 1940. [8] [9]
