Rodney was born in 1947. He was the son of Nick Grimaldi and Helen Kmety. He was married to Roma, they had two children and three stepchildren. Rodney worked at the Great Lakes Naval Base for 22 years as a welder. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He passed away in 2009.
