Annie was born about 1864.

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/77142997 Georgia Ann Washington Stonner Grimes was born into the nation at War on Sept 5, 1864 near Clintonville, KY. Soldiers came to the home that day in search of horses and help.

She attended country school in Bourbon county and continued private schooling in dance, voice, and instrumental music. In January 1883 she traveled by train to Hughesville, MO with her parents and sister Offie. She taught piano before and after her marriage in both Pettis and Saline Counties.

She married D Walker Becraft Nov 27, 1883 in Houstonia MO. They later returned for a few years to Millersburg, KY, then back to Walker, MO. They settled permanently in Saline County and raised three children, Lillian, Laban and Lucille.

I recall hearing the family say that this was a picture of Annie at age 16. It may possibly be later, in1883 when she was married.
