October 10, 1850 - Perry County, Arkansas

William J Grimmet was enumerated at Benton, Saline County, Arkansas for the June 13, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1848-1849 in Arkansas. He was noted as a farm laborer with $150 in real estate as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Wm F Chastain, female Elizabeth Chastain, female Sarah Prillaman and male John F Grimmet.[1]

William Grimmett was enumerated as self at Owen, Pulaski County, Arkansas for the United States Census, 1880. He was noted as a farmer, born 1847 in Arkansas and married. Also included in the household are son Robert Grimmett, son Henry Grimmett, son Noah Grimmett and wife Sarah Grimmett.[2]

1924 Arkansas Death

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[3] William Isaac Grimmett is buried at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Saline County, Arkansas.[4]
