William J Grimmet was enumerated at Benton, Saline County, Arkansas for the June 13, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1848-1849 in Arkansas. He was noted as a farm laborer with $150 in real estate as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Wm F Chastain, female Elizabeth Chastain, female Sarah Prillaman and male John F Grimmet.^[1]
