Charlotte born 22 Jan 1797, bap 6 July 1800 Leatherhead daughter of Joseph Grimstead and Charlotte Jane Sarah his wife (late Walsh Sp ). [Baptism entry on film] John Walsh's will dated 1822 names "my granddaughter Charlotte, elder daughter of Joseph Valentine Grimstead and my daughter Charlotte" Her father Joseph Valentine Grimstead's will of 1821 states “My daughter Lady Glammis being provided for I do not include her in the division of my property”.

Grimstead-8 and Grimstead-1 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles are the same person. With the new software, it's possible to retain the bulk of information that is on Grimstead-8 in the merged Grimstead-1. But we do need to it end up with the lower number. I can find no evidence of Charlotte having been born in Hertfordshire, only that she died there, so we can probably assume your information is correct there.
