Biography

Parents

Michael Grindstaff and Catrin[1]

If her father was born in 1728, it's not likely Catherine was born only twelve years later in 1740. Her oldest son was born about 1756 which indicates that Catherine could not have been born much later than 1740 as she would have been too young to give birth.

I think that these may not be her parents as they would have been too young to have had a child in about 1740 and she could not have been born any later as it would conflict with the birth dates of her children.
