Matthew Griswold, who was b. 1760, d. 1842, son of Matthew Griswold and Ursula Wolcott.
Matthew Griswold, born April 17, 1760, son of Matthew Griswold and Ursula Wolcott, graduated at Yale College in 1780, and married, September 4, 1788, Lydia, daughter of Deacon Seth Ely, of Lyme. He settled at Lyme and died there June 10, 1842. He studied law with his father, and became Chief Judge of the County Court of New London.
