Biography

Augustus Henry Griswold was born on 27 October 1789 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut. He was the son of Roger Griswold and Fanny Rogers.^[1]

He married Elizabeth Lansdell in Ninfield, Sussex, England on 12 August 1820 and returned to Connecticut with her.^[2]

He died on 29 December 1836 in Connecticut. ^[3]
