Daughter of Jake Delno and Mayme (Buttler) Groff. The family moved from TX to near Ipava,IL when Coita was 6 yr old. She graduated Ipave High School, Class of 1945.

Coita married Delbert Lee Fairburn, June 2,1948 in Canton, Il.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert, of Astoria, IL Also surviving are their 5 children: Deborah (and John) Lopes of Mt.Pleasant, MI Rebecca (and Marvin) Westlake of Mt. Carmel, IL Teresa Diane (and Gary) Westlake of Browning, IL Scott Fairburn of Astoria, IL Julie (and Bill) Troutman of Rushville,IL 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. and 1 sister, Jo Ellen (and Carl)Gunter of Lake Elsinore,CA

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother,Jay Dee(and Ruby) Groff 4 sisters: Marjorie (and Harold) Foster Marion (and Herbert) Shaw Ella and Della Groff (twin infants)

Coita was a homemaker. She also worked as a waitress and cook at various restaurants. She was a member of the Astoria Christian Church and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge of Vermont,IL.

She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
