Jean Baptiste Grolo was born on 24 June 1729 in Deschambault, and was baptized the same day. He was the son of Pierre Groleau and Marie Anne Paquin. His godparents were Nicolas Paquin and Elizabeth Hamel.[1] He married Marie Véronique Mathieu on 2 February 1750 in Deschambault. He died on 26 January 1811 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, and was buried two days later.[2]
