Albert Raymond Groombridge was born on August 7, 1882 in Colony of Tasmania, son of Richard Groombridge (1842–1919) and Elizabeth Matilda Hutchins (1854–1939).[1]

Albert (27) married Edith Isabell McLagan (24) (born on June 13, 1885 in Richmond, Tasmania, Australia) in 1910 in Tasmania.[2] Their children were:

Albert died on August 27, 1962 in Tasmania, Australia, aged 80.
