Biography
Agnes was a daughter and co-heiress to her parents, John Grove, an armiger, and his wife Joan, who were lessees of Ford Hall at Wooten Wawen, Warwickshire. Agnes carried this property to her marriage.
The GROVE arms were ‘Argent, a chevron between three pineapples pendant Gules’, i.e. a silver shield with a red chevron between three pendant red pineapples.
