Biography

Ruth was born on 30 Aug 1703. Norton, Bristol, MA, the daughter of Andrew Grover and Mary [Unknown].

Ruth married Ephraim White and they resided in the North Precinct of Norton. They had eight children:^[3]

1) Ephraim, b. Feb. 25, 1729; died July 10, 1750, unmarried.

2) John, b. Aug. 1, 1730.

3) Ruth, b. April 27, 1732; died in Mansfield in 1789. Her will dated July 8, 1789, was proved Dec. 1, 1789.

4) Mary, b. June 2, 1734 ; was living in Mansfield, unmarried in 1791, and was then non compos.

5) David, b. June 26, 1736.

6) Eliab, b. Jan. 29, 1738-9.

7) Lydia, b. July 17, 1741 ; died Feb. 2, 1750-51.

8) Abiel, b. Aug. 26, 1745 ; died Jan. 1, 1750-51.

Ruth died at the age of 69 on 22 November 1772.^[4]
