Ruth Grover was baptized on 14 Oct 1677, at the First Parish Church in Beverly in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of Nehemiah Grover and Ruth Haskell.[1]
Ruth married John Dodge of Wenham in Beverly on 11 Apr 1698.[2][3] Ruth was John's second wife, his first wife (Martha Fiske) having died in 1697.[4]
An unknown source states that Ruth was the twin of Nehemiah and baptized (the source apparently indicates "born") on 5 Aug 1688, the date of Nehemiah's baptism. This is not supported by the collected vital records for Beverly and would, in fact, preclude her marriage to John Dodge in 1698.
