Biography

Alfred was born in Farnham Surrey on 3 February 1881. He is the son of Frederick Grover and Charlotte Elizabeth Bushell. Alfred was christened on 31 March 1881.

When Alfred married in 1908, he declared his occupation to be 'blacksmith' but the 1911 Census and 1939 Register indicate that he worked as a domestic gardener.

On 12 Dec 1908, Alfred married May Harrington in Farnham and they would become the parents of 1 daughter and 1 son.

Alfred passed away in 1963 in Surrey at about age 82.
