We know Franz Gruber's parents' names. Why are they not listed on this page in their official places? They are Josef Gruber and Maria Danner. I have also located the name of his brother, Alois Josef, born to the same parents 3 years later on June 5, 1790. https://data.matricula-online.eu/en/oesterreich/oberoesterreich/hochburg-ach/103%252F01/?pg=37 https://data.matricula-online.eu/de/oesterreich/oberoesterreich/hochburg-ach/101%252F04/?pg=75

Hi Brad and welcome to WikiTree. The direct answer to your question is simply that no member has yet taken the time to add them. Although WikiTree has numerous projects to help guide and support our members, it is up to the members themselves to do the work. If you know the identities of Franz Gruber's parents and have the sources to support it, please feel free to create their profiles and connect them to their son. Otherwise, it will have to wait until another member is inclined to do so. If you are unsure of how to do this, let me know and I'll be happy to help show you the ropes.
