George, son of Thomas Grundy & Mary Golightly, was born on 17 August 1818 and baptised on 27 September 1818 in Whickham, Durham, England.[1] 27 Sep 1818 George Grundy, of Lamesley, born 17-Aug 1818, 1st son of Thomas Grundy (husbandman, native of Lamesley) by his wife Mary Golightly (native of this parish, daughter of George) [2]
