Pélagie was born about 1737. She is the daughter of Pierre Guerin and Marie Josephe Bourg.
She was on the 1752 (LaRoque) Census, at Baye de Mordienne , Ile Royale (now Cape Breton), age 15.[1]
In 1758 she was deported to France aboard L'Antelope. On the passengers list, she was recorded as a servant in Louisbourg. She disembarked at Saint-Malo on 1 November 1758 and then left for Rochefort on 9 November. [2] Her other siblings were also deported to France aboard another ship, the Duke William.

- Isidor, aged 13 years;
- Louis, aged 10 years;

- Luce, aged 8 years;
- Gertrude, aged 6 years;
- Marie Joseph, aged 3 years.
- They have been in the Colony 18 months. Have rations for 21 months. They own in livestock two cows, two pigs, six sheep, three fowls.
