Biography

Birth/Baptism

Noel, son of Mathieu Guay and Thérèse Poirier, was born and baptised on 10 July 1688 at Québec. [1][2]

Death/Burial

Noel died sometime between the burial of daughter Marguerite on 14 November 1727 [3]and the baptism of daughter Angelique on 6 August 1728.[4]

Marriages

1) Noel married Madeleine Poulin on 9 June 1711 at Baie-St-Paul. [5][6]

2) Noel married Catherine Lombrette Simard on 4 June 1716 at Baie-St-Paul. [7][8]

First to use surname Castonguay. Noel moved from Quebec City to Baie St. Paul at some point & was married there.[9] A child not listed in Tanguay is possibly Marie-Joseph (1721-1722)
