Anders was born, roughly estimated, about 1650. He was the son of Gudmund Olsen Gisholt østre and Karen Andersdatter.[1][2]
He is named in his mother's probate in 1699, stated as being "in the King's service in Copenhagen."[2] At this point he must have been of mature age, and he is likely to have been staying in Copenhagen for the rest of his life.
