Biography
Secundino was born in 1890. He was the son of Jose Guerra and Lucia Borrego. He passed away in 1956.
On 5 April 1940, Secundino and Luisa lived in San Elizario, Justice Precinct 4, El Paso County, Texas with their seven children- Santiago, Samuel, Jovita, Aurora, Sabino, Elvira, and Elisa. They owned their home, valued at $500. Secundino worked as a farmer, helped out by Santiago and Samuel.[1]

On 21 Mar 1956, while working on his farm, Guerra lost control of his tractor while driving near a drainage ditch at around 2:30 in the afternoon. The tractor fell into the ditch in a manner such that it decapitated the 65-year-old farmer. When authorities arrived on the scene, they needed a winch truck to unpin the body from under the vehicle.[3]
